Friends of Little Saigon hosts and participates in several events throughout the year.
Celebrate Little Saigon: Hosted by FLS, this event is a Vietnamese cultural festival and night market in the heart of Little Saigon. Each year there are delicious food vendors, art & craft booths, children’s activities, performances and more. A full day of fun during the summer time.
C/ID Spring Clean: Hosted by SCIDpda, CID BIA, and State Farm, the Spring Clean is a large district-wide clean-up. Up to 400 volunteers each year, this event is a great way beautify the Chinatown/International District. Projects include graffiti paint out, light gardening, litter pick-up and other projects.
Tet: is the Vietnamese Lunar New Year (around late Jan-early Feb), the largest celebration in Vietnamese culture. FLS will take part in various celebrations such as the large Tet in Seattle event in Seattle Center every year and the Lunar New Year celebration in the Chinatown/International District. Keep an eye out for special promotions and events!
